This can lead to trouble for both the worker and the employer. The government has ways of checking to see if an employee is registered to work in a particular country.

In cases when the worker was not registered or banned from working in this country, the individual was deported or kicked out of the country. This means that the person is taken to the borders or back to the workers country of origin. This can mean being banned from this country, and the consequences of what may be waiting back home.

To hire foreign workers is also a risk for the employer. A business can be closed for having unregistered workers in the work place. The dangers of letting in unregistered workers can put the citizens of that country at risk. Disease and other issues may follow that individual who has illegally been working in the borders of some country. All rules must be followed to ensure that everyone is safe.
