Good Goals Can Help You Rebound From That Rut
While a lot of us think that such a routine way of living is not satisfactory, there are experts who believe this thinking may actually be to our benefit. I bet some of you are like, you must be kidding, right? That seems totally against everything we've been taught.
The fact is, it's the people who are not dissatisfied about being in a rut that are the ones who will never get out of it. It's all about goal setting, brothers and sisters, and how we can motivate ourselves to achieve these goals.
Three things to think about are.
What are things we do to achieve our goals? Is there a modicum of consistency in these things we do? Do they fit you and your personality?
Have you eliminated the waste in your life and your mind? What are the things you do that take up your time and effort, but are unakin to your goals and ambitions?
I hope you are currently in the process of self-talking and asking these questions to yourself...right?
Bear in mind that great things often take a while to accomplish. Oh sure, we hear about this guy or that gal that came in and became the top salesperson of their Company in a few weeks flat. Are such achievements possible? Sometimes. Here's my personal point of view - prepare long and hard if you really want to be successful. Overnight success doesn't happen to everybody. For example, was Tiger Woods successful the first time he picked up a golf club? Negative, partner - he finished 22nd place, not exactly tasting the bubbly with that position!
Enough trivia, back to the pit. Fine, let's get back to the pit - if you can't get out of it, why not turn on a dime and do something different? Make some new goals, imagine what life will be like when you're achieved them, get rid of what isn't working. Learn to think of the best case scenario and keep your new and old goals written on paper. Also, remember to practice realistic patience.
