Daniel Craig's James Bond Films
When Daniel Craig was first announced in the task there was a specific amount of incredulity. Websites were even set up attacking the actor for taking on the role. Conveniently when Casino Royale was released in 2006 he set the record straight. Not only was it the best Bond for years , it proved to be a critical as well as business success.
The film is updated from the first, which took place in northwards France and instead the action happens in the Bahamas, Miami and Montenegro. Naturally audiences expect lots of action in a 007 film and so it is more physical than the book ever was, but regardless of that it remains fairly true to its source.
Helping James Bond on his mission is the beautiful Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green, as well as Rene Mathis. However , not all is at it would appear and Bond is double-crossed. Recovering from his treatment at the hands of the baddie, Le Chiffre, James Bond falls crazy about the Algerian love knot wearing Vesper.
Making for Venice, he find that despite finding the lady of his dreams he is double crossed. The film made a nice change from the cheesy jokes and ludicrous gizmos of prior films, with Bond becoming much more physical instead. That continued with the 2008 follow up, Quantum of Solace, although the plot was type of direction meant that this was not well received.
